Hello everyone,

I just talked with Danny and he asked me to do this update for you, so here goes.

I met Danny Davenport quite a few years ago while playing a club in Atlanta. I believe it was
the now defunct Blues Harbor. We always had a good time at that joint. Danny took us all
out to eat at a great oriental restaurant. The "tension beef" made us all up-tight, but that is a
whole other story.

In case you don't know who I am, I have a band called Mike Morgan and the Crawl. I am
based out of Dallas,TX. I have been touring and making c.d.'s for about 14 years now. I
started the band in late 1986 and made my first record in 1990. Things kind of fell into place
rather quickly and I was in the studio before I knew what hit me. Since then I have put out 8
c.d.'s.

I am currently in the middle of a new recording. I have actually finished the recording part
and I am set to start mixing next week. This project has been different than any of my
previous works, in that I did all of the vocals. I have always had a singer in the band and I
played guitar. It has been a challenge to prepare myself to sing in a very short time. I
wasn't exactly where I wanted to be vocally, but I needed a new product to represent what I
am currently doing. I had a great line-up on the session. Anson Funderburgh and Jon
Moeller did some rhythm guitar work, Wes Starr played drums, Rhandy Simmons played
upright and electric bass, and last but not least, Riley Osbourne played B-3 organ and
piano. I sang and played guitars.

" Speaking of guitars "........... In the studio I used my ' 58 Strat and my ' 67 Epiphone
Riviera. I usually use a lot more guitars on a session. I used my 2 x 12 Silvertone amp , my
Victoria 3 x 10 Bandmaster replica , my ' 54 1 x 10 Fender tweed deluxe and my mid ' 60's
Fender Super Reverb.

On most of my live gigs I use a 1982 re-issue Strat, a 1967 Epiphone Rivera and a new
Danelectro ( w/ old lipstick pickups) . I also have a 1958 Strat that I had re-finished Daphne
blue, ( It had already been re-finished when I bought it). I have an old Danelectro, a
Harmony Rocket ( 3 pickups .. very wild guitar .. can be heard on the rhythm guitar parts of
the new c.d. on Wild About You, Gimmie Back My Wig, Taylor's Rock and See Me In The
Evening), I have a cool old Silvertone Espanada that is black with the aluminum binding. I
have a black 1978 Les Paul Custom. The Les Paul was my first real nice guitar. I have a
new National resonator that I need to play more. My latest purchase is one that I have been
wanting for years .... an early 50's Gibson ES 5... sunburst , what a beauty !!
